The Pewag PW Grab Hook is a Grade 10 shortening hook designed for adjusting the effective length of chain sling assemblies. Its specially designed chain contact area provides secure engagement between the hook and chain while allowing the full load capacity to be maintained when the chain is shortened.
Suitable for use with Connex systems and welded chain systems, the PW can also be retrofitted into existing assemblies. It is manufactured in accordance with EN 1677-1 and provides a robust solution for chain shortening in demanding lifting applications.
