What Is Lifting Equipment?

Lifting equipment refers to any device or accessory used to raise, lower, or move a load safely. It includes mechanical lifting aids, slings, cranes, hoists, shackles, and lifting points — all designed to ensure secure load handling in accordance with Irish and EU safety regulations. Properly certified lifting equipment not only protects personnel but also improves operational efficiency and compliance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007.

At Prolift, our lifting products meet or exceed EN and ISO standards, ensuring full traceability, high performance, and long service life. Every item we supply can be inspected, tested, and certified by our in-house LEEA-qualified team.
